Chili not only makes you breathe better (let’s face it I always get a bit of a runny nose when I eat chilli) it also:
- contains fiber
- contains protein
- will help you lose weight (I feel satiated when I eat chili and it curbs my desire for fatty foods and sweet)
- makes me happier — the capsaicin found in chili peppers increases the serotonin and endorphons which both raise a person’s mood levels
- regulates your blood sugar
- boots your immune system because chilies contains Vitamin A
