Chili not only makes you breathe better (let’s face it I always get a bit of a runny nose when I eat chilli) it also:

  • contains fiber
  • contains protein
  • will help you lose weight (I feel satiated when I eat chili and it curbs my desire for fatty foods and sweet)
  • makes me happier — the capsaicin found in chili peppers  increases the serotonin and endorphons which both raise a person’s mood levels
  • regulates your blood sugar
  • boots your immune system because chilies contains Vitamin A
