The 30-Day Plant-Based Challenge

Are you up for a 30-day challenge?

I hope you are after you check out something that’s pretty exciting and that just came across my radar. It’s a quick link to a plant-based diet brochure that is packed with tips on how to gently move toward a plant-based diet. It’s designed for you to try a 30-day challenge and shows you just how easy and tasty a plant-based diet can be.

Perhaps you heard back in the Spring of 2013 how Kaiser Permanente boldly took a stand on the superiority of plant-based nutrition to promote health and began advising their doctors and health-care providers to advocate a plant-based diet for their patients and clients. With 182 employees, and 17,000 physicians, Kaiser is the largest HMO in the United States. For them to endorse a plant-based diet was phenomenal because they just may just have started helping to lead the way towards a plant-based revolution.

In their Spring 2013 Journal they wrote:

“Physicians should consider recommending a plant-based diet to all their patients…encouraging whole, plant-based foods and discouraging meats, dairy products, and eggs as well as all refined and processed foods.”

As a HMO provider, Kaiser stands to benefit from people making healthy lifestyle choices and not needing extensive medical care, expensive medications or drastic medical procedures.

Now, with this terrific brochure, you can get started right away; and I’m excited to share it with you. Let me know if you decide to take the 30-day challenge.

Cheers, Karen
